Ques. Does NAM offer any field visits or practical exposure for BA (History) students?
Ans. NAM includes a Local Industrial Visit/Fest component in its fee structure (Rs. 4,000 one-time), which covers educational visits and cultural activities. For History students, such visits may include heritage sites, museums, and cultural institutions in and around Dehradun and Uttarakhand, which is a historically rich region with sites like Haridwar, Rishikesh, and various archaeological locations. Ques. How does the fee payment and refund policy work at NAM for BA (History) students?
Ans. The annual fee at NAM is payable in two instalments: 70% at the time of admission (before Semester I classes begin) and the remaining 30% by November 30. A penalty of Rs. 50 per day applies for late payment after November 30. If a student wishes to cancel admission, they must do so by September 30 of the admission year to be eligible for a fee refund as per UTU norms. The Security Deposit of Rs. 3,000 is refundable upon leaving the institution. Fee payments are accepted via Cash, NEFT, or DD in favour of "Doon Educational Trust Society" only (no cheques).
