Over time, the faculty composition and academic structure of the college's programs have evolved significantly. Initially, the undergraduate (UG) programs were staffed by experienced faculty members. However, now only one faculty member is from the aided category, with the rest being guest lecturers. In contrast, postgraduate (PG) programs, which are now self-financed, have a full faculty backed by strong management support. Previously, UG programs followed a non-semester, annual examination system with a strict 100-point marking scheme, making it challenging for students to pass.
Currently, exams have shifted to a semester pattern with a 60/40 split between external and internal assessments, facilitating easier passing and improving the college's pass rate. Back in 1994, the college fees were around 1500. Scholarships were granted based on category, merit, and parental income. Admission under the Army quota was also possible with some assistance, which influenced scholarship eligibility.
