The college's application process is conducted online and is straightforward. The application fee is Rs. .60/- for aided programs and Rs. .100/- for self-financing programs. To be eligible for undergraduate courses, students must pass the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) board exam. The zoology department, established in 1956, consists of thirteen faculty members, twelve of whom hold doctoral degrees, and is led by Dr. Robin. Faculty members are highly specialized in their teaching areas.
Fees for aided courses are affordable, as they are set by the government, whereas self-financing courses have higher fees. Students are required to pay fees annually. The college provides both internship and placement opportunities, offering dedicated guidance and training to students. Interviews can be attended on-campus and off-campus, enhancing students' chances of employment. Scholarships are available for both meritorious and economically disadvantaged students, offered through concessions and stipends. Furthermore, the college supports needy students by providing free midday meals.
