Candidates should have passed his/her postgraduate degree in the related branches of study with a minimum of 55% marks.
Admission to Master’s degree programs are based on the marks obtained in both the qualifying examinations and the entrance examination. Entrance examination will be conducted by the respective Departments for each different course which would also intimate the result to the candidates. Communal Roaster system would also taken into consideration, as the university follows reservation criteria laid by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Here’s a table that shows both the modes, Category-A shows courses with entrance test as selection criteria while Category-B has courses with merit-based admission process:
