ANJAC B.Sc Microbiology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Final semester students have the opportunity to participate in campus interviews, with a variety of companies recruiting across most departments. However, there are fewer companies visiting for microbiology and biotechnology students. Notable companies that have participated in recruitment include Ithayam Frozen Foods, Mathi Hospital, Meenakshi Labs, and Bioplus. The average salary offered to students generally falls between 2.15 and 3 lakhs per year. Internship opportunities are primarily available in nearby areas, with institutions like DRDO, DLRI, and AIIMA Madras Medical College offering positions.

Current departmental projects focus on areas such as pulmonary cancer treatment, clinical waste management, controlling and preventing multidrug-resistant bacteria, and advancing Spirulina production methods. The B.Sc Microbiology program is a self-financed department with an average annual fee of about 50,000 rupees, which includes tuition and exam fees. Scholarships under the SC/ST scheme are available. The college's fee structure is considered economical when compared to other institutions.
