Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year B.Sc Program should have passed in 10+2 examination in science stream or possess an equivalent qualification from recognized board

• TNOU has established a fixed number of study centres within Tamil Nadu state to assist students for whole admission procedure & learning activities.
• To coordinate the activities among Study centres & University, separate zonal centres also have been established. These zonal centres act as a link between the two.
• After obtaining the application form at the desired study centre, authorities shall issue the acknowledgement card to the student & the Zonal centres will send the documents after scrutiny to the Admission wing of the university. University will first confirm the information provided by the student & will issue the ID card.
• If a student has not opt for any study centre then university will allot the nearest location to the student according to his/her address.
• Study material for all courses has been provided by the study centres after generation enrollment number for the student. For problem regarding dispatch of study material or any other issue you may contact to:

Scholarship Details:

SC/ST students, if not employed in any organization/firm or institute but want to pursue distance education especially in  formal disciplines are eligible for reimbursement of the non-refundable fees provided the annual income of their parents does not exceed INR 1,00,000/.

These students can obtain the scholarship form from the Offices of Adi Dravidar/Tribal Welfare Department of TNOU. Important information required to be furnished from candidate’s side are:

1. Applicant’s Savings Bank Account No.
2. Name of the Bank & Branch

Scholarship form with all details is required to be sent to the Director, SSSD, TNOU.

Note: Initially, you have to pay the tuition fee after due scrutiny the applications for scholarships will be forwarded to the respective Government Departments for sanction of the scholarships.

Differently -abled students pursuing a Programme at the University are eligible for tuition fee exemption. The candidate shall apply in the prescribed application Form, for admission along with the challans for INR 300/- enclosing a copy of the disability certificate.
