Admission to the college can be gained through either management quota or merit-based routes. Management quota requires a minimum of 75% in 12th standard, while merit-based admission is via Anna University counselling, which combines entrance exam scores and 12th marks. The faculty, all holding PhDs, are knowledgeable and approachable, supporting students academically. The fee structure is equitable for both hostel residents and day scholars, with an annual payment covering education and transportation costs.
Hostel fees include the cost equivalent to bus transport for day scholars. The total course fee, including food, is approximately Rs 1,00,000 for merit students and Rs 1,45,000 for management students. The college has a strong placement record, with around 1400 offers secured in the current academic year. About 20% of students find jobs through campus placements, with companies like Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys participating. The placement cell provides training starting from the 7th semester.
Scholarships are available, including a Rs 20,000 scholarship for counselling students and additional awards for top performers. The college also enhances employability through internships, value-added courses, and project guidance.
