Fees for Eamcet students range from 10,000 to 90,000 INR depending on their rank. AUEET, a less challenging exam, and spot admissions require a fee of 1.65 lakh INR annually. AUEET students can continue to MTech without additional exams. All first-year students have a 10,000 INR miscellaneous fee.
The faculty is highly qualified, with some holding dual Ph.D. degrees. Placement opportunities begin in the third year, with companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys, Coramandel, and Reliance participating. The highest salary package, offered by Reliance, is about 7 lakh per annum, and the average is around 4 lakh per annum, similar to what TCS offers. Approximately 50% secure jobs post-graduation. Placement eligibility requires a minimum CGPA of 6 and no more than one backlog.
Internships are available at NTPC and a steel plant, with NTPC offering stipends between 1 lakh and 2 lakh INR annually. Scholarships are available for students from low-income families or below the poverty line, requiring a white ration card and caste certificate. Under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena (JVD) program, eligible Eamcet students pay 10,000 INR after a 10,000 INR concession. Scholarship funds are deposited into the respective mother's bank account for white card holders.
Students whose parents are government employees may not qualify for these scholarships.
