The college boasts a highly educated faculty, with many holding advanced degrees from prestigious universities. However, while knowledgeable, faculty often adhere to traditional teaching methods. Each academic year is structured into two semesters, each featuring two midterms and one semester-end exam. While established departments have adequate faculty, newer ones face staffing challenges. From the fourth year, students without backlogs become eligible for campus placements. Placement packages vary, with the highest reported as either Rs 9 lakhs or Rs 6 lakhs per annum, and the average ranging from Rs 2 lakhs to Rs 9 lakhs.
Notably, 50-80% of students typically secure placements, though the college is not proactive in inviting companies for recruitment. The placement process begins in the students' first semester of the fourth year. Financially, the college charges an annual fee of Rs 110,000, plus a Rs 15,000 admission fee covering library access, but no lab fees. Enrollment is through the EAMCET exam, with fee reimbursements based on the student's category. Additionally, the state government offers a Rs 35,000 scholarship for general category students taking the EAMCET, and management students might receive fee concessions based on their intermediate exam scores.
A semester fee of Rs 1,400 also applies.
