Ques. What is the duration and total fee for Ph.D. (Computer Science) at KASC?
Ans. The Ph.D. (Computer Science) programme has a minimum duration of 3 years (full-time) and a maximum of 6 years. For part-time scholars, the duration extends up to 8 years. The total course fee is Rs. 90,000 (Rs. 30,000 per annum for 3 years). Additional university fees may apply.

Ques. Is it mandatory to clear the Bharathiar University CET for Ph.D. (Computer Science) admission at KASC?

Candidates without M.Phil. must qualify the Bharathiar University Common Entrance Test (CET). Candidates with valid UGC-NET/JRF scores may also be considered for exemption.

The total fee remains the same, but the duration is extended (up to 8 years).

DST-INSPIRE fellowship is also available for eligible candidates. Additionally, government scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students are facilitated by the college. Students without external fellowships do not receive a stipend from the college.
