KASC M.Phil. Zoology Admission 2026-27
Admissions to the M.Phil. (Zoology) programme at KASC are conducted once a year, typically in July-August, following the publication of PG (M.Sc.) results by Bharathiar University. The selection is merit-based, and candidates must apply through the prescribed application form available at the college office or the official website. For the 2025-26 session, PG applications were accepted from July 2025 onwards. For 2026-27, admissions are expected to follow a similar timeline.

TANCET score is accepted for M.Phil. admissions in Tamil Nadu affiliated colleges. However, KASC's M.Phil. admission is primarily merit-based on academic performance. Candidates are advised to check the official college notification for any entrance test requirement.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed M.Sc. (Zoology) or an equivalent postgraduate degree from a recognised university.
- A minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying PG degree is generally required (50% for SC/ST candidates as per Bharathiar University norms).
- Candidates who have appeared for TANCET or equivalent entrance exams may be given preference in some cases.
Admission Process:
- Obtain the application form from the college office or download it from the official website (kongunaducollege.ac.in).
- Submit the filled-in application along with attested copies of required certificates (mark sheets, degree certificate, community certificate, etc.) and the application fee (Rs. 60 for General; Rs. 2 for SC/SCA/ST).
- Attend the counselling/interview session as notified by the college.
- Selection is based on merit in the qualifying PG examination.
- Pay the course fee and complete the admission formalities upon selection.
