Admission to the college generally takes place in April, contingent on academic results. The institution is particularly renowned for its history department, thanks to highly qualified lecturers who hold PhDs and are committed to ensuring students grasp the material thoroughly. To manage unforeseen situations, an additional lecturer is employed for each subject. Faculty members, appointed by the University and state government, are noted for their supportive and clear teaching methods, albeit slightly older than expected.
The college offers flexible fee payment options, allowing students to pay either in full or through installments, with no restrictions on payment methods. The annual course fee is 7,200 INR, or 3,600 INR per semester. Students from SC, ST, and OBC categories can benefit from a state government scholarship, which covers 50% of the fee for eligible low-income families. However, general category students are not eligible for these scholarships. The college boasts a robust placement program, attracting a diverse range of companies, including Tata, Mahindra, and Wipro, with participation from various states.
