Admission to the college is determined by 12th-grade academic performance, with no requirement for group discussions, written exams, or interviews. The selection process involves a straightforward counseling session focusing on general topics and career aspirations. The annual tuition fee is Rs 80,000, but scholarships are available, especially for financially disadvantaged students and those from reserved categories. Although the campus does not offer jobs, it helps students secure internships with stipends. However, hostel fees are high, prompting many students to consider loans.
Placements are strong, with about 60% of students securing jobs annually. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys recruit from the campus, offering average monthly salaries between Rs 40,000 and Rs 70,000, with top offers exceeding Rs 15 lakhs per annum. The average annual salary package is around Rs 5 lakhs. Students must clear all subjects to participate in placements, with a preference for those scoring above 80% or 85%. Placement readiness is supported by training classes and internships, including collaborations with IIT Bombay and Internshala.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering course costs over Rs 70,000 annually, but students with a 12th standard score of 1113 and a 189 engineering cut-off can receive a 90% fee concession, reducing the fee to Rs 11,000 through government counseling. First-generation graduates also receive significant fee reductions, bringing the annual fee down from Rs 75,000 to Rs 21,000. Hostel and bus fees are separate, with additional concessions for first-generation graduates, and scholarships are available based on caste priority.
