PSNA Admission Dates 2026

B.E. and B.Tech admissions at PSNA College are managed through TNEA 2026 (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), conducted by Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU). TNEA 2026 is currently in progress, with Round 1 allotment released and Round 2 counselling commencing in August.

PG programme admissions follow a separate TANCET 2026 schedule. The table below summarises the exam requirements across PSNA programmes.

PSNA Courses and Fees

PSNA College offers UG and PG programmes in engineering, technology, management, and computer applications. B.E. and B.Tech together cover eleven specialisations, serving a large UG intake across engineering and technology disciplines.

Flagship specialisations in the emerging-tech segment include Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cyber Security, and Computer Science and Business Systems, all introduced in response to industry demand. Civil, Mechanical, and Biomedical Engineering are also offered for students targeting core engineering careers.

PSNA Admission Process

PSNA College follows centralised admission processes for all programmes. There is no direct walk-in or management quota admission for UG programmes. PG admissions carry a small management quota component as permitted by AICTE norms.

B.E. and B.Tech Admission

UG engineering admission is entirely through TNEA, which ranks candidates based on Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. No entrance exam is required for TNEA.

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for BC/MBC and reserved categories under Tamil Nadu norms)
• Admission route: TNEA rank (merit-based, no written exam)
• Counselling rounds: TNEA centrally allots seats through multiple rounds. Candidates register at tneaonline.org
• Reservation: Tamil Nadu state quota reservations apply (BC 30%, MBC and DNC 20%, SC 18%, ST 1%, etc.)

PSNA College has a TNEA code of 5910. Students who do not receive an allotment in TNEA rounds may approach the college directly under the Special Reservation or Spot Admission rounds at the end of the TNEA process.

M.E. Admission

Candidates seeking M.E. admission must hold a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree and qualify in TANCET or GATE. Admission is through Anna University PG counselling. GATE score holders receive fee concessions under AICTE norms.

MBA Admission

MBA admission is based on TANCET score, conducted by Anna University. Candidates with any UG degree are eligible. PSNA MBA offers four specialisations: Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and IT.

MCA Admission

MCA admission is based on TANCET. Candidates must hold a B.Sc, BCA, or equivalent degree with Mathematics as a core subject at the UG level. The three-year programme is affiliated to Anna University.

PSNA Placements

The 2024 placement season at PSNA College recorded 1,009 job offers from 104 recruiting companies. The highest package offered was INR 44 LPA and the average package was INR 4.4 LPA.

Core IT recruiters include ZOHO, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Hexaware, and Mindtree. Turing and LIT Mindtree have offered among the higher packages in recent seasons. Non-IT companies visiting PSNA include recruiters from the manufacturing, electronics, and civil sectors for Mechanical, EEE, and Civil engineering branches. The 44 LPA highest package reflects product-company offers for top-performing CSE and IT students.

PSNA Rankings

PSNA College participates in NIRF rankings under the Engineering category. As per NIRF 2025, the college falls in the 201-300 band among engineering institutions in India, consistent with its 2024 position.

PSNA Scholarships
