Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, or a closely related discipline from a recognised university with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

A valid TANCET score in the Engineering discipline is required for government quota admission through CEAP counselling.

Candidates who have qualified GATE in the relevant paper (EC, EE, or IN) may also apply and are given preference in some quota categories under CEAP norms.

Admission Process

Register for TANCET on the Anna University portal and appear for the ME entrance examination in the Electronics discipline.

After the TANCET result, register on the CEAP counselling portal and fill college and course preferences in order of priority.

CEAP publishes a provisional allotment based on TANCET rank and category, and candidates confirm the seat by paying the required fee online.

Report to MAMCET on the date specified in the allotment letter with original certificates for verification and admission completion.

Management quota candidates apply directly to MAMCET after TANCET results and are admitted based on merit and seat availability.
