IMT Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are two main specialization in this college that is marketing and finance, and both have decent placements. Lots of companies come every year with decent package and average placement for the following year us above 7 LPA . With 80 percent batch already placed.

Campus placements have been good considering the pandemic, there have been great additions this year, owing to the jolt of enthusiasm brought in by our new placement coordinator. The companies that came in are Goldman Sachs, Bain & Co., Crisil, Barclays, Nielsen, KPMG, Deloitte, Volvo Eicher, Byjus, HDFC, Adani Wilmar, Xiaomi, RR Kabel, among a plethora of others. All the Summer internship students have been placed and around 40 remain for final placements, which will be complete by the end of the current placement season. The highest package has been 16 LPA and average hovered around 8 LPA.

After 4th-semester students are eligible for campus recruitment and companies start coming for the same. And everything is very fluent. We just have to prepare ourselves well to crack the interview which is just in our hands. Many top-notch companies come to campus which everyone dreamt of joining. For the highest package and all please refer to the college website it keeps on updating there. 100% placements are there. But sometimes it depends on the student as well.

85% of the batch got placed before the lockdown was imposed. When the lockdown rules were relaxed, the placement processes continued. The highest package offered stood at 16 LPA and the average package offered stood at 7.97 LPA. More than 60% of the batch was placed in the BFSI, BA & IT, and Manufacturing industries respectively. Some of the major recruiters included CRISIl, Deloitte, KPMG, Reliance, SBI Life, and Wipro.

The placements provided by the college are decent. Big firms visit campus for recruitments and hiring. The highest package is up to 17 LPA and the lowest is 5.5 LPA. But avg. packages lie near 8.5 to 9 LPA. All the students in the batch get placed. More than 120 companies visit for placement and internships.

from the 3rd semester onwards, the Placement process starts in August. Companies like Deloitte, Colgate, Hexaware, Xiaomi, HDFC, ICICI, Crisil, TCS, and many many more. The highest package went somewhere around 12-14 LPA whereas the Average is around 7-8 LPA 95+ students placed. I got placed in Deloitte and will work in consulting domain.

Every year 90+ companies arrive at IMT that offer packages ranging between 4.5- 12 LPA. There are ample opportunities for placements in every domain. The placement team also provides special sessions to prepare students for placements.

Placements here are decent. The average package of the batch is around 8 lakhs, which is nice considering the pandemic. A lot of good companies visit the campus like Goldman Sachs, Ernst, and Young, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. So, if you perform well here then you can get a good placement from the campus.

Placements are not that good when compared to other colleges. Some will get 22 LPA but others will get around 10-11. I wish i could have got a better placement. The placement cell is good enough, they make sure everyone is placed.

From the 4th sem, we become eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visit are very good. If you were vigilant in the class and were able to focus in understanding the subject, then getting placed wouldn't be much of an issue to you.
