Eligibility Criteria

Passed HSC (10+2) from Maharashtra State Board or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra)

Valid score in MHT CET 2026 PCM group (primary route) or JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 accepted under DTE Maharashtra CAP norms for engineering admissions

Candidates from outside Maharashtra holding a valid JEE Main score are eligible under All India Quota seats subject to DTE Maharashtra CAP rules and seat availability

Admission Process

Qualify MHT CET 2026 PCM group (exam held April 2026) or JEE Main 2026 and collect the result or percentile scorecard

Register on the DTE Maharashtra CAP portal (fe2026.mahacet.org) within the notified window and upload HSC marksheets along with the CET scorecard for document verification

After merit list publication fill the option form on the CAP portal selecting SCET Nagpur and the preferred branch in order of preference

Seat is allotted through multiple CAP rounds and must be confirmed by paying the seat acceptance fee within the stipulated window

Report to SCET Nagpur within the prescribed deadline with original HSC certificate, marksheets, CET scorecard, and other required documents to complete admission
