Admission to the college can be gained through a good rank in Andhra Pradesh's entrance exam or by opting for a management seat, which costs roughly three times the standard tuition fee, set at 101,000 INR. Eligibility requires completion of intermediate studies or a diploma. The college faculty is well-qualified, with members holding PhDs, master's degrees, and some pursuing PhDs, offering effective teaching, though challenging topics may require extra effort from students.
Initially, fees were reasonable, but as the college's reputation improved, the fees increased to a moderate level. Placement opportunities are favorable for CSE, ECE, IT, and similar branches, with about 30% of students securing placements. However, placements are limited for Civil and Mechanical students. Internships are available, albeit some may not offer stipends. During the sixth semester, students can participate in campus interviews, with some companies offering roles in BPO voice processes at a salary of INR 12,000 per month.
Students engage in projects like The Storage Efficiency in Feedback Monitoring System using Hadoop and MapReduce, emphasizing cloud storage. The college offers a Fee Reimbursement scheme where the Andhra Pradesh government covers up to 35,000 INR annually for qualifying students based on exam results, with any additional fees to be borne by the student. The SC quota Adi Dravida scholarship provides annual financial support to reserved category students.
