Good College for Affordable Studies in Engineering

Likes

College is good equipped with good faculties but need improvement on college placements.
Engagement with campus life and the quality of social interaction was nice there.
The quality of the infra including college amenities and learning facilities was outstanding.

Dislikes

No social engagement events conducted here except annual function which is also like school days.
Poor placements only happening for mechanical and CS no other branches.
Sports activities are very less, only football and basketball nothing else and the courts and grounds mainly occupied by seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum as per the MDU Rohtak it is good and gets you detailed insight about the course in details after attending the practicals you will know where why and how to execute it. Teaching methodoligies has to changed as per the new guidelines.

Likes

I liked most is the environment of that college. Every boy or girl is serious for their study.
There is large area of playground for various types of games.
Teaching staffs was excellent by their knowledge and friendly nature

Dislikes

I didn't liked some meals that was available in mess.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1). I liked science and this course is of science based and technology based. 2). After getting knowledge from this course i am capable to be practical in real life experiences. 3). There should be more practical work in labs during course rather than theortical. 4). Exam timing was relevant. But i was slow in writing so was not able to complete exam within time. Thats why i secored less in exams.

Insight of SITM

Admission:

After the AIEEE exam in 2006, I filled choices on technical education Haryana's website. Once counseling is over. I got the seat allotted here in SITM. Then as a standard procedure. we deposited fees over there and took admission. I completed my B. E degree from here.

CEET Haryana. Don't remember my CEET score but was around 8K. I belong to same city where this college is, so close proximity was an important factor for me decide as i could not afford to go away from my home so that i can take care of my parents also when ever its required.

MY COLLEGE LIFE EXPERIENCE

Remarks:

The only thing which i did not like about my college is Attendance fine.Students had to pay in case if they do not meet their attendance. Also, college didn't not allow any student to enter in the college after 9.30AM that was the college timings. I would want to give this feedback to my college management that they should avoid this and try to find other ways to change the students minds so that they should start attending the classes or to be regular in college.
