03 Jun, 2025 The Times Engineering Ranking 2025 has been released. RVR Jc Moodle ranks 53 out of 175 engineering colleges in India.

RVR and JC College of Engineering is a private, autonomous college that was established in 1985. It is approved by the AICTE and affiliated with the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. It is graded ‘A+’ by NAAC. RVR JC Moodle Ranking by The Week was 68 for BTech in 2024, while Times of India ranked it at 33 for BTech in the same year.

RVR and JC College of Engineering offer BTech in eleven specialisations as its flagship course. The candidate should have cleared 12th with Physics, Maths and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks. The selection of candidates is based on EAPCET scores. The total intake of this course is 1680 seats. The total fees of this four-year program is INR 4.2 lakhs. Besides BTech, RVR JC Moodle courses include MBA, MTech and MCA. My overall experience with campus life has been positive. I've made many friends and have been involved in several clubs and organizations. The infrastructure is also good, with modern classrooms and facilities.The campus is well-maintained and has all the necessary facilities, such as a library, computer labs, and a sports complex.College campuses often offer a diverse and vibrant community where students can meet people from different backgrounds and form lasting friends.Colleges offer a wide range of clubs and organizations catering to different interests, from academic clubs to sports teams and hobby groups.

On-campus living facilities

Room provided Is better and meal quality is average No registration process ,if a person have joined in RVR college and pays hostel fee then he can choose a room that is available and accomdate there On my opinion The nature around is good for studies.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

Faculty to student ratio is 1:10. I personally like my c language madam Sunitha bhai she taught very well and clear and m1 madam too (srujana mam) she too taughts much clearer.... upto now there is no faculty that I don't like and for each semester there are 2 mids and and semister examand the difficulty is moderate.about 5 percent students fail to clear the exams.The course curriculum is perfect for a student to be ready for industry.

Admission process being in the campus

The placement percentage in the this recision peroid is so much better than other college and affordable college fee too and I joined the college through eamcet to join in this college in cse branch a general category student must require a minimum of 15000 rank. I have applied for jntuk, au colleges too but no seat is alloted for me as i was a oc categorized.i got a confirmed admission from srkr engineering college. I choosed rvr over that because of its better placements.I joined in this college through eapcet exam.for oc there is the eligibility if rank below 8000.eapcet and ecet are the exams that are accepted for my course.cutoff for eapcet is 8000.the overall admission experience was cool.

Night Life

While our campus may not have a vibrant nightlife like some other colleges, it offers a peaceful and supportive environment to focus on academics and personal growth.The area around our college is generally safe, but it's always a good idea to be cautious, especially at night. Stick to well-lit areas and avoid walking alone in secluded spots.Campus timings are 10 PM to 5 PM.Hostel timings are 7 PM.I like the place ground floor and the gym area.

There is nothing like giving high preference for boys and low preference for girls , both are equally treated
I like the college for anti ragging thing as there will be no ragging in the college even the first year students will not face any ragging issues

Dislikes

There will be some little caste feeling among students, because most of the students are chowdarys and the college owners are also the same cast

Admission:

The other colleges i applied are vignan University and githam University, although they are very good Universitys but their college fees are little higher than RVR and the hostel fee is also soo higher, so i choosed rvr over them and i didn't get rejected from those both colleges The admission process is you can join in 2 ways like you can write APEMCET exam and can join through counseling and other way is management quota ,for this you can visit the college and can get the seat

Good college with good infrastructure

I choosed this college over other colleges is because this is the one of the best college than the other colleges and the fee is also affordable when compared to other colleges that i applied The admission process is if you can get a seat in this college through APEMCET exam if you get a good rank..or you can buy a management quota seat by visiting the college -->The other colleges i applied are KL university and Vignan university -->I got admission in both the colleges but the fee is very high so i quited

Likes

College environment is very good they maintain campus very clean
Labs are very well equipped with good and experienced lab technicians
They give equal importance to Extracurricular activities as studies

Dislikes

Strict timings should be followed to enter or leave the campus
We have to wear uniform from Monday to friday
Main building is little bit old but it is good

Admission:

We can get admission through ap ecet or AP eamcet for convenor quota and we can get direct admission also but fee will be higher compared to convenor quota. Placements are good almost 60 percent students are getting placed in various companies for full time and for internships

Library: The Central library as it has 129920 volumes inclusive of all departments as well as the library consists of Journals,ISI standard books,Hand books and data books
Not only the studies the college students are champions in many sports and games in the university level thus we can understand how the games are encouraged in the college.
The most apperciable thing in the college is Anti-Ragging cell

Dislikes

Balancing academics and extra curricular activities are sometimes overwhelming.
finding a parking spot in college is an extreme sport
nothing in the world is annoying than a person who says "that he will fail in the exam" but reality he will get 90% and I am the one who's gonna fail.

There are two courses offered in the RVR and JC College of Engineering CSE specialisations. These are B.Tech. and M.Tech. The admission to the B.Tech. is done on AP EAMCET basis and admission to M.Tech. is based on AP PGECET or GATE scores.
