QISCET B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

In 2015, admission to QIS College of Engineering and Technology (QISCET) could be secured through the EMCET exam, with a rank of about 30,000 potentially leading to a CSE seat. Admission via the management quota required good academic performance in 10th grade, intermediate, and EMCET exams, with additional support from faculty referrals. Situated 5 kilometers from Ongole, QISCET was the only autonomous college in Prakasam district and offered a range of courses including CSE, ECE, IT, Civil, Mechanical, Pharma, Degree, MTech, and MBA.

The student-to-teacher ratio of 1:60 facilitated personalized attention, with faculty known for their advanced degrees and supportive nature. Students benefited from a practical learning approach and regular exams, contributing to a low failure rate of 20%. The fee structure for CSE management seats increased to about Rs 100,000, while counseling students paid between Rs 40,000 to Rs 80,000. EAMCET students faced annual tuition fees of approximately Rs 36,700 to Rs 37,500, while management students paid Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000, with some courses costing up to Rs 1.2 lakh.

Although there were limited on-campus jobs and internships, the college supported skill development with training fees up to Rs 7,500 per semester and facilitated bank loans with interest-free repayment after five years. Placement performance at QISCET was mixed. While some reports indicated over 90% of students secured jobs, others suggested less than 20% placement, with only 5% landing positions in top MNCs.

Packages ranged from 2.5 to 6 LPA on average, with top offers from companies like Mindtree reaching 10-16 LPA. Internships were primarily virtual and non-stipend, with students often seeking external opportunities. The college emphasized training and career guidance from the second year, despite variable placement quality and opportunities.
