Kongu Engineering College offers admission to 11 different specializations under B.E./ B.Tech courses. The total intake of candidates in B.E. is 240 and B.Tech is 120 seats. The minimum eligibility criterion to apply for these courses requires the candidates to have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in PCM/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Biotechnology. The candidates are selected on a merit basis or through TNAE.

ENTRANCE PREVIEW -Counselling, mark based, from +2 , Anna University will conduct counseling for admission to UG engineering programmes at participating universities tentatively in the last week of June. Admission to engineering programmes will be based on marks obtained by candidates in PCM in the qualifying examination.

I paid one lakh rupees every year ,as i didn't applied any scholarship. But the student who get seats through the counselling can pay only eighty thousands rupees, if they are first graduate students , they can pay only sixth thousands only
For management the fees is 1LPA, hostel 60K, if you have above 8 CGPA you'll get 10k scholarship
The college provide a numerous nymber of scholrships like central scholotship. They provide scholorship for people from differnet community the amount varies depending upon their community. They also provide management scholorship.

It's one of the few colleges whose fee structures is reasonable with having all facilitates they will not charge any thing extra which is not mentioned in the pamphlet.
