Eligibility Criteria

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a state board or AICTE-approved polytechnic with a minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST). A valid TG ECET 2026 rank is mandatory for state counselling.

B.Sc graduates with Mathematics as a subject are also eligible for TG ECET and may apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry in Mechanical Engineering at JPNCE as per JNTUH lateral entry norms.

Candidates should have covered core Mechanical subjects such as engineering drawing, thermodynamics, and manufacturing processes at Diploma level for smooth progression into Year 2.

Admission Process

Download the TG ECET 2026 rank card from ecet.tgche.ac.in after the result was declared on May 29, 2026, using your hall ticket number and date of birth.

Register for TG ECET Phase 2 counselling from July 4, 2026 on the TSCHE portal, pay the processing fee online, and book a slot for certificate verification at the designated help centre.

Attend certificate verification with Diploma mark sheets for all years, TG ECET rank card, community and income certificate, study certificate, and a valid photo identity proof.
