Indra Ganesan College of Engineering Tiruchirappalli Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 6th to 7th semester we have eligible to placement but I am 1st year student so I didn't know about the company names. The senior has suggested as to the companies average packages 20000 the sometimes the highest packages 35000. The 10% of students only placing in this placements

From seventh semester students became eligible for campus placements. The average package is 15000 per month. Almost all the students passed the examination will be getting placement offers. Higher studies also supported.

I choose this course because I think it a career growth and it is very useful for the IT job. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:40 and the faculty is over-qualified enough to teach us. Exams are conducted semester-wise and monthly-wise.

I choose this course in my own interest. The college has enough faculty and especially with good experience and knowledge. They conduct term exams frequently to help us to get practice for writing semester exams and get confident to clear all the exams.

There was no job placements and job opportunities. Moreover the college was trying to work as a man power agency by letting us work in very small scale industries for 8000 and getting commission with the process in the name of placement was just started when i was in the final year.

To get a admission in this college I appeared for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) entrance exam after my 12th. The rank I got in this exam got me this college through the counselling process.

The admission is acquired on the basis of cut off secured and counselling later on in TNEA. Apart from that, student needs to have cleared their higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized education institution with 45% aggregate and three main subjects such as physics, chemistry and maths.

Main negative is u have to be without arrears to go outside college for Symposiums & other technical related events ! Very strict like girls should not talk to boys ! If u r on leave u have to get a permission or Ur parent should make a call ! One positive is high chances of getting a degree which is useless nowadays after writting 6 internal Exams per semester
