The college admits students through Anna University's counseling process, based on 12th-grade marks, particularly in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. However, there are concerns about inexperienced faculty and potential grading bias. Tuition fees for Bachelor of Engineering programs, including Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, and Electronics & Communication, are INR 70,000 per annum, while Master of Engineering programs are INR 50,000 annually. All students must pay transport and food fees. A placement fee between INR 7,000 to 10,000 is charged, but the college offers limited placement support, with most opportunities in BPO and IT sectors.
Although some departments boast 100% placement, the overall rate is around 90% for eligible students, with no placements reported for Mechanical students. The college does not offer direct scholarships, but students can pursue external scholarships, including those from Anna University. Despite claims of numerous company visits, only 10 companies actually visit, predominantly from IT and BPO sectors. The mechanical department faces significant placement challenges, making the placement fee largely ineffective for non-CSE departments.
