PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PSGIMSR) is a private medical college established in 1985 under PSG and Sons’ Charities Trust (founded 1926) in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The total MBBS fee under the government quota is INR 22,50,000 for the 5-year programme (INR 4,50,000 per year). BPT total fees are INR 2,25,000 and BSc allied health total fees are INR 2,00,000.

PSGIMSR graduates pursuing NEET PG for MD/MS benefit from strong training exposure at PSG Hospitals’ high patient load. MBBS graduates completing the mandatory rotating internship receive a monthly stipend. Senior residency and fellowship positions are available at PSG Hospitals after postgraduate training.

PSGIMSR Admission Process

All MBBS, MD/MS, and DM admissions at PSGIMSR are NEET-driven with no direct management quota for MBBS. Tamil Nadu state quota seats are allotted through the Medical Selection Committee under the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English & 60% Marks separately in Mathematics. The cutoff has not been specified, you can register and download the brochure for the detailed information.

No, you will not get admission to MBBS course with said marks. You need to have scored atleast 540+ marks to get admission to the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.
