The college is known for its friendly and supportive faculty, especially the Nepali teachers, who are both strict and encouraging, fostering student growth. The B.Sc. Nursing program includes a 6-month internship within its 4-year duration, offering students a stipend of around Rs 8000. Internship opportunities are available at North Bengal Medical Hospital and other hospitals.
The first-year fee is Rs 409 for students opting to stay in the hostel and Rs 369 for those who do not. The annual hostel fee is Rs 40, and the mess fee is Rs 2500 per month, with possible reductions during holidays longer than two weeks. The fee structure remains the same for all students, regardless of category.
However, ST/SC/OBC students can benefit from scholarships provided by the Government of West Bengal.
