The average package for CSE at Sharda University usually ranges from INR 3 Lakhs to INR 12 Lakhs per annum.  The university has more than 600 recruiters among which there are 150+ MNCs. The university has a 91% placement rate for B.Tech. Some of the recruiters who hired B.Tech CSE students during 2023 placements are Indus Valley, HCL, Paytm, Heliverse, Z1Media, TCS, Volopay, HSBC, Byjus, Unthinkable, Oodles, Supply Copia, etc.  The overall highest package of Sharda University is INR 1 CPA (International) and INR 40 LPA at the national level (2023). The university has a placement paper and eligibility criteria for different companies. Ans. Sharda University has been awarded the best private university continuously over the years by National Education Awards. It has also been awarded the best Private Global University of the Year and the Best Innovative Engineering School in North. It is ranked 151 out of 200 by NIRF 2020. CSE department is one of the best departments of Sharda University. Curriculum: The CSE department aims at providing an industry-centric curriculum and provides a blend of classroom and experiential learning. They include lab exercises, assignments, case studies, and work-integrated activities. Admission: Matriculation with-60% marks, 10+2 with 70% aggregate and minimum 60% marks in PCM, Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology without a gap between 10th and 12th is the required eligibility. Students can also appear for Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) if they have scored above 50% marks in Maths in 12th Boards for selection. All students up to JEE rank of 3 lakhs and students with UPSEE All India rank up to 50,000 are also eligible for admission. Placements: Sharda University has an excellent track record of 91% and 100% placements over the year. Most CSE students get an above-average salary package due to the demand of their course. The highest salary package was 64 LPA. Every year about 350 employers recruit students through campus recruitments. Ans. One of my friends studied at Sharda University and according to him, it was the biggest regret of his life. He pointed out some good and bad things about the college, which I will be sharing with you. There is no ragging and the infrastructure is pretty good. It is the only thing good about the college. The university has many flaws like -  The crowd and the overall exposure are not good.  The tests conducted at Sharda are extremely easy and you do not need to study for more than a day before the exam.  A GPA of 8+ can be easily scored, yet a majority of students are stuck around a GPA of 5 to 7. The university has attendance criteria of 75% which is very strict. For students who travel via Sharda bus or metro from Delhi, it is very difficult to keep up with this. The administration of the college is not good either. The complaints are mostly ignored. Many workshops are conducted but the students are not able to attend them because of the attendance criteria.  The hostels are in pretty bad condition too, so, it is better to opt for PGs or Private Hostels. The faculty is not enthusiastic about teaching or researching in their field.  In the first semester, a lot of time is wasted in learning Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Moral Science, EVS, Multimedia, AutoCAD, Mechanical in your B.Tech CSE. None of these subjects are related to the branch. If you scored badly in JEE or any other competitive exam but are willing to improve yourself and do not see any other options available, then you can join Sharda University.Read more

Ans. One of my friends studied at Sharda University. According to him, your GPA will not be the only criteria that will be looked at when it comes to your placements. But, if you are planning to appear via campus drives, the first and foremost thing that would qualify you for this would be your GPA. If your score is less than 7 you will probably not be able to sit at most of the companies. It is also important that you have a 60% score throughout your academics.  Develop your aptitude and reasoning abilities as well. Most importantly, your communication skills will matter a lot. Categories CSE at Sharda University Course Fee 7.28 lakh Placement Percentage 60% Highest CTC 12 LPA Average CTC 8-9 LPA Recruiting Companies Bosch, Global Logic, Dabur, Genpact, etc. Among all the companies that visit the college, IT and Management visit in the largest numbers. Some of these include Indian Navy, Think n Learn, NTT Data, etc.  About 8 to 10 of these will have a pool campus invite. Around 3 to 5 management and sales companies. The university also has the best TnP department and works really hard in order to bring companies to the campus. But many students are not that interested in getting placed.
