- University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) offers a Master of Computer Science for a duration of 16-24 months.
- It is an on-campus, thesis-based program offered on a full-time basis.
- In this program, students get opportunities for co-op programs.

- The Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) at the UNB’s Fredericton Campus was the first computer science faculty in Canada.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete a master's degree in Computer Science (or related discipline such as Engineering or Science) from a recognized university.
- Students have a computer Science background which includes software engineering, data structures, operating systems, algorithms, and computer architecture.
- Students have a minimum GPA of B for the MCS by Coursework and normally a minimum of B+ for the MCS by thesis/report program.
Indian Student Eligibility
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

Following are the documents that must be submitted by students:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): A professional document that summarizes student's work history, education, skills, and work experience.
- Transcript: A transcript is documentation of a student's permanent academic record, which usually means all courses taken, all grades received, all honors received, and degrees conferred to a student.
- Statement of Interest: Student has to fill a description of research interests in the application form.
- Three References: Employment references include past employers, co-workers, subordinates, or clients. Professional references are people who know students on a professional basis. Academic references are instructors and vocational counselors.
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
