There wasn't much of industrial exposure or research experience. This is a professional course and most of it was classroom based except for few industry visits.
It was around 54000 CAD for tuition fees paid in three terms. I think it might be increased this year. Totally not worth it.
There are various opportunities for research and for applying knowledge learned in the classroom.
Depends on how many courses a student takes. It roughly estimated to 3,500$ for a 3 credit course.
Very difficult, unnecessarily so. Drove me to depression and imposter syndrome is real. Taught me some skills to help me get jobs.
8000 CAD
The course curriculum is evenly distributed. The students have the freedom to choose any course they like and can even drop the course within a certain deadline if they feel so.
Tuition fees is 9000 CAD per year
It is hectic and tough but proper time management and organization can help you a lot.
60,000 CAD/year
It is great and most up to date, we frequently have industrial exposure through fairs and seminars.
CAD $49000 (International Students)
The first year of engineering was mostly high school topics and it was pretty easy. Now in the second year, we are going through more complex topics. Industrial exposure and research experience can only be obtained if we explore and try to get it. I am personally in a design team, UBC Baja which gives me a lot of industrial experience.
around $200,000
The syllabi of most courses are up to date. Professors love to talk about new technology especially when it comes to their own research and findings. Talking about their research is a good way to get to know them and for them to get to know you. Any relation with a professor can open doors with research experience as they're more likely to select you to help with their research. The co-op program, although competitive, allows for a good opportunity to work in the industry.
The average is around 45000CAD excluding the rent.
The curriculum in Bioinformatics is a very wide area so we are going to learn the basics so we're able to reach ourselves in the industry.
200000
It's great, and it's pretty much exactly what it's built up to be. They have a lot of incentives like scholarships, competitions, and prizes for students, and are really trying to normalize advocating for mental health, which is something I really like. As for the courses, I think most of them are at the right level of difficulty, but I did think some of the delivery of said courses could be improved.
For international students, it's around CAD 50,000 to CAD 60,000 per year, so if one takes four years to complete, then the range is between CAD 200,000 to CAD 240,000.
