TMU is the only university in North America that offers a business-savvy bachelor's program. Creative Industries is a highly unique program that allows students to choose a specialization from among 12 industry modules. My overall experience at TMU has been fun, educational and exciting. The combination of rigorous academics, supportive faculty, vibrant campus life, and excellent internship opportunities has prepared me well for my future career in the creative industries.
About this course:
- The Ryerson University offers 4 yearof Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- The first program of its kind in North America, Creative Industries blends artistic, media, communication, cultural and business studies to prepare future leaders for employment in today’s fast-moving, creative economy.
- Students will develop an artistic eye and entrepreneurial skills to transform ideas into cultural products and services, ranging from television shows, films and video games to music recordings, fashion lines and ebooks.
- Students will learn from industry experts in creative-content modules and complete a work placement and capstone project.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program-specific requirements.
- Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher pre-requisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
- A minimum grade of 70% or higher will be required in Grade 12 U English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
