It's up to date, I must say in some of the subjects we were taught the software which has just been introduced in the market. If you opt in for Co-Op you would get industrial experience also.

One needs to finish 10 Units (Subjects) for their degree. Fees need to be paid per subject (unit). The per unit fee is 4800$ and then you need to pay insurance which is 800$ per year and 300$ for a bus pass per year. The total comes to around 50,000$ for the course.

Courses are constantly updated on a term-to-term basis, and most of them tend to have evaluation criteria, such as a final project with a presentation, making them highly industry-ready.

The course curriculum is very recent as it teaches about automation plus also gives exposure to industrial side by doing different projects.

My course is designed in two ways, one is a course-based option and the other one is a course +project-based option. To graduate, one has to finish 30 credits (10 courses or 8 courses + 2 projects). Both of the options are good on their own. As for project-based, you will be working with industry and doing a project on the problem that they are facing or the solution that they need, so by doing this you will get a chance to make a relationship with them, which later on will be helpful for a full job position. As far as the courses is concerned, all the courses are designed in such a way that you will get not only theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge too. Unlike writing theoretical exams, almost all the courses involve projects, assignments, and reflection papers.

1. My credit was 30 for my course at McMaster University - Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering was 1.5 years with a total of 8 Theory-based and 1 Project-based. But you can opt out or in from the project. If you do only Theory then you need to have 10 theories. But having said that this may alter. 2. At McMaster Uni - you have the opportunity to choose the course you like, as I selected most software-related courses since I had 7 years of work experience in IT and after studying I got a job in the IT field as well. 3. 1. I paid the first term's fees before applying for the study visa via Western Union online transfer. 2. 2nd & 3rd term fees paid via wire transfer. To send a wire transfer you can ask to Admin office to give you the University's wire transfer details.

In my 1st term, the subjects that I had chosen were mostly based on industrial application. Also, the project that I did was from the industry, so I can say that I have got industrial exposure related to that subject. I have got a chance to learn different tools that have been used in the manufacturing industry.

Each course has a unit of 3 credits, for 1 credit fee is $1270. so one course would cost $3810. Therefore 10 courses, would be 38100. However, the university also charges a $1000 supplementary fee and around $900 for other expenses.
