EAST OR WEST, UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO IS THE BEST.

Likes

There are a lot of opportunities available to us after completing this program, and the research facilities are also very good here.
The campus life is amazing. We have student lounges to play football or pool, and just chill and hangout. However, you do not get the time to do all of these.
Some teachers utilize articles and podcasts, which I prefer because they are free and more accessible.

Dislikes

As well, the process of getting your money back when you drop a course is not applicable for any other term, which is very disappointing

The tuition is approximately 53,000 CAD. If you decide to stay in residence the cost can vary from 11,00 CAD to 16,00 CAD for the first year. Residence costs include meal plan options. However, many off-campus housing options can also vary depending on your choice. Overall it's the best affordable college, in my opinion.

LIFE AT UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO

Likes

The campus was very beautiful and I enjoyed staying there
The faculties were good and well educated
The placements were best and worth to actual fees

Dislikes

The students there were not as good as I expected
The ranking system was not good as it includes a lot of hardwork
Some faculties were rude and did not responded well at my doubts

The credit score was like each subject had different credits ranging from 0 to 5 each subject added a good score in my academics each subject was divided into certain hours and they were taught accordingly.

The program was affordable my first-year fees had been paid by my parents and the rest fees I paid myself by doing part-time work at different places I was paid for working and my salary was 25$ per hour per week my other academic expenses included the stationery cost and project cost.

My Campus experience.

Likes

The first thing I liked was the library and the overall campus was really good. The infrastructure and classes were really amazing.
I also liked the faculty and there way of teaching and giving equal time and importance to every student.
The campus was very huge and the cleanliness was really good.

Dislikes

I disliked the area of the campus, like we have to walk more from one class to other building for practicals.
Also there are no garden available in the campus.

Course Curriculum

The number of credits available in the program is 24 and by achieving the required points we can get the scholarship. The faculty was really nice and helped each student. One faculty is available for every 3 students.

I think that the curriculum can be a bit tough, and some courses try to cover too much material. Students often miss out on understanding topics in depth when they are forced to cram for exams. However, the professors are very knowledgeable.

Course Curriculum

I think that the course curriculum is in dire need of updating. Within the faculties of math and physics at the University of Toronto, there is a lot of disconnects. I think any closely interconnected faculties that have many overlapping prerequisites, such as math and physics, should come together when composing or updating the curriculum. In the case of the University of Toronto's math and physics course curriculums, there were many times in first-year physics courses where students were expected to already have background knowledge on various math concepts and know how to apply them, only to officially learn them in a second-year math course that is taken after said physics courses. That being said, there should be consistency between faculties in what is expected of students, what will be taught, and when. As well, I think it is important that secondary schools regularly update their curriculum in accordance with what is being taught in high schools. There have also been some discrepancies here, as a course will require knowledge of a concept under the presumption that students already know it (in addition to it not being taught in any other course), entirely under the assumption that it was taught in high school. As well, there have been some courses that have required various concepts to be used from a high school course that was not even listed as a prerequisite to the program.

Fees

Fees are amalgamated between the Summer and Winter semesters, however, it is possible to pay them separately. All fees, including tuition, residence if applicable, incidentals, and any ancillary fees, are combined onto one charge. Some of the fees included access to a gym, health services, and co-op fees.

Course Curriculum

The University of Toronto has a very strict course curriculum with the Program of Study that they have mandatory where you need a certain mark to actually be enrolled and this is a bad way to do it but the courses overall are interesting.

Application for undegraduate programs offered at the University of Toronto must be submitted through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre. You can find the link of this centre under the Undergraduate Admission section at the University of Toronto Admission.

If you have graduated from a designated learning institution in Canada, you may be eligible to apply for PGWP. However, graduating from a designated learning institution does not automatically make you eligible to appy for PGWP. You will be able to apply for PGWP after completing the one-year Certificate in Cloud Computing program of this university.

The University of Toronto does not offer Master in Child Counseling. But the university offers MA Child Study and Education, MA Counselling and Clinical Psychology, M.Ed Counselling and Psychotherapy, M.Ed Global Mental Health and Counselling Psychology, M.Ed Guidance and Counselling, MA School and Clinical Child Psychology. To apply for these programs, you must have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
