I chose this university because it’s one of the best post-secondary schools for business and entrepreneurship, which is something I am truly passionate about. They also had a very good co-op and job opportunity, which was a great opportunity for me to select my business management program. I think my overall experience was better than I had actually imagined as I got to make friends pretty quick within my course activities and the events that attended that suited my interests. I’d like to have more in person classes, so I can use the full amenities provided at the school like the gym, library, and arena.

Course Curriculum

8

They have provided me with 5 courses that each represent a specific major in my program. It’s very updated and relevant, as my entrepreneurship course (ENT 101) was a brand new course that launched this year.

Faculty

7

I have a hybrid class, where I do online and in person learning and there are a lot of students in my program, but it’s easy to bond. The professors that I have been with it are very nice and flexible with everyone.

Campus Life

8

When I do go to my in person class, I like to stay at school most of the times even after my classes are done because there are many silent study spots in the library and a mini game section that I like to go with my friends. It get connected to the wifi everytime even if I am in different buildings.

Placement

7

For my program, after your third test, you can apply for coop and I know that the median salary is about $40,000.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

I am not staying in the university housing. I live with my parents

Exams

I have to achieve over an average of 80% of my top 6 courses in high school and had to get at least over 70% in advanced functions and calculus. No I did not have to submit any SOP, LORs, or CV and didn’t have any points.

Fees

I think for the first semester it’s $3500 and for the second semester it’s $4000, so this year it will be $7500.

Scholarship

I have received a bursary scholarship of $1100 on my first year behalf of my university. TMU normally provides bursaries to students who need extra support for school supplies, transportation, or any other special needs.
