Dislikes
- While there are no particular aspects of NorQuest College that I find unfavorable, it's worth noting that the college is situated in Edmonton, one of Canada's coldest cities. Navigating to the college during extreme temperatures, reaching as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius, can pose a considerable challenge.
My experience at Norquest College has been transformative. Initially an introvert, I've gained significant confidence and become more outgoing. While I still identify as an introvert, I can now approach people confidently and without hesitation. The excellent academic environment and the friendly city have contributed to this positive change. Norquest College has undoubtedly enhanced my social skills and overall happiness.
Course Curriculum

The teachers are exceptional, prioritizing practical learning. Most of the instructors I've encountered have been inspiring, making the learning environment enjoyable and enriching.
Exams
The admission requirements for my course necessitated a high school diploma in the commerce field and IELTS for English proficiency. Generally, English proficiency is evaluated through IELTS, and other prerequisites vary based on the chosen course. Notably, Norquest College offers support to students who don't meet these criteria by providing academic upgrading or ESL intensive courses, ensuring they can meet the necessary requirements for their desired program. This assistance is highly beneficial and underscores the college's commitment to inclusive education. Indeed, I submitted a Statement of Purpose (SOP). However, due to the involvement of the agent in managing the application process, I have limited visibility regarding the specifics of the accompanying documents. I had no interviews within the process.

Well, I am studying right now and I got hired as a student assistant in the college itself. I believe it is all based on networking and the efforts, hard work you put in.

There are numerous comfortable spaces like the cafeteria, couches on each floor, library, atrium, green areas, and more. We do have college wifi, bus pass. Personally, Norquest has significantly boosted my confidence, enhanced my networking skills, and improved my communication abilities., I find immense happiness and confidence within the supportive environment of my college.
Hostel
Honestly, accommodation in Edmonton is relatively affordable compared to larger cities like Vancouver and Toronto, despite recent increases in costs. Sharing living spaces is common among students, enabling comfortable living. While Edmonton may lack extensive sightseeing or bustling adventures, it's a good, affordable place to reside. On average, a two-bedroom apartment rents for around $1400.
