What Students Say
Likes
- Flexibilty with courses and mode of learning (hyflex - inperson and online) where i can choose if I want to take 11 am class as I am not a morning person so its all in my hands if I want a 11 am one I can just double click and its all.
- Flexibility to choose courses, where I can make choices by myself on moodle (much convienent app by norquest) where I also get my assignments and tasks. Also the instructors at Norquest most of them are now my good friends, all of them really are the best mentors I have ever met.
- Norquest library is way too much better than any normal library where students can see different sections if you want to chill and talk there's gossip section and if you are reading a book and you want everyone to be quiet there's a quiet section as well. Moreover, at this college you can easily take help of international advisor who can provide you everything you need with your studies.
Dislikes
- Nothing too much. But there's not a lot of options with food like there's only subway and tim hortons making a limited choice for most of students who cant have the same thing everyday. Other thing is there's limited courses which you can study. Mostly colleges or university here offer a wide variety but Norquest isn't like that its focused on few courses only."
Required Exams for Admission
Everything was good, missing that days already. Some beautiful memories that I will never forget.
Course Curriculum
Abroad studies usually focus more on practical so they don't prefer to much theory instead we used to go to different shops time to time or a market for an project where in group of 2 or 4 we had to ask them questions regarding their sales and market scope accordingly.
Faculty
Mostly filled with international students , even the instructors from different countries and vast variety of cultural people.
Campus Life
There's an student association (SANQC) which conducts games and wonderful events time to time. Also there's a floor where you can find video games to play . Tennis court too.
Placement
For some who pass with 3.6 or more gpa they get further opportunities but its all depending on courses which ones we take.
Accommodation
Its pretty expensive to live in the accommodation but the quality is uppermost the best.
Exams
IELTS 6 each , +2 70%. I think now they also ask for Maths. Writing , reading , listening and speaking overall 6. My agent submitted my SOP where he explained everything about me to the officials , why and what's the purpose of studying at the college I choose.
Fees
40000. Say 10000 per semester , 1800$-2000$ per course. Total of 20 courses.
