- The Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology at George Brown College is a two-year program that provides students with the knowledge and skills required to work as construction engineering technicians.
- The program focuses on the practical application of engineering principles to construction projects, and includes a combination of classroom lectures, laboratory work, and field trips.
- Throughout the program, students will learn about a wide range of topics related to construction engineering, including building codes and regulations, construction materials and methods, project management, and site inspection.
- They will also have the opportunity to gain practical experience through field placements, where they will work alongside industry professionals to gain practical experience in the field.
- To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on mathematics and science. They must also demonstrate proficiency in English.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have completed an Ontario Secondary School diploma or equivalent degree.
- Students must complete Grade 12 English (C or U) with 60% or higher.
- Students also have to complete a Grade 11 Math (M or U) or Grade 12 (C or U) with 60% or higher.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria
- Students must be graduated from senior secondary school.
- Students have a minimum overall of 60% in 10th and 12th Grade for all streams.

Students also have a minimum overall of 50% in English and Maths in 10th and 12th Grade.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
