The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a 6-year undergraduate program offered by the College of Medicine and Dentistry at JCU. Students starting at JCU Cairns can complete their entire degree there, while those beginning at JCU Townsville will study there for the first three years. Clinical years (Years 4-6) may require students to relocate to JCU Cairns, Townsville, or Mackay. The program consists of 144 credit points and prepares students for a medical career with practical clinical experience across multiple campuses. James Cook University accepts almost all English proficiency exams, such as IELTS,TOEFL and PTE for international students admission. Indian students with excellent scores are eligible for the JCU International Excellence Scholarship worth 25% tuition fee reduction.
