  • Although it's not just this university but the country's culture, foreign universities charge for things that normally an Indian university would give for free. For example, my pre-service teacher badge cost me a good $20 to order, which should have been ideally provided by the department. null

The course is rigorous and designed in a way which doesn't allow any breaks. Unlike a semester system, ours is a 'Study Period' system where the unit load is less, but the study periods are spread out across a full two years with four practical placements. I recently finished my first two-week practical, which was an eye-opener. It gave me exposure to how my full-time work life would feel like. The teachers at the school were quite supportive which made the journey easier.

Fees

The total tuition fee is around AUD 63,000 (approximately INR 35,00,000)

Dislikes:

  • The campus looks beautiful but it is not active. After 5PM, no eateries are open inside the campus. All the clubs like dance, music, machine learning, etc. are just for namesake. The location of campus is also far from the city. null

I didn't take any course. I also didn't get any industrial exposure as I was a joint PhD student.

Fees

I didn't pay any tuition fees.

Dislikes:

  • While most things are beyond amazing at Curtin, as an international student I feel the fee is expensive to pay but that’s just how we see any comparison. Most other universities have a higher fee but even with scholarships, it could be tough for a middle class Indian. null

It is well structured and has sufficient depth for students to learn more than just textbook knowledge.

Fees

The cost of each unit is around 3.5k AUD. I have to complete 4 units in each semester and I have 4 semesters in total.

The course has a credit score of 200 points in total. The teaching methods are of course flexible whether you opt for online or offline. The best workshop experience and laboratories. The faculty ration I'm not sure as the classes have recently started and I'm about to fly to Australia. I would love to know every staff and student in person.

Fees

The academic fee was 38500 AUD per year 19250 AUD per sem (10,42,866.87 rupees) You would get a 25% scholarship based on merit. I personally opted for an education loan through HDFC credila. The additional fee may be included such as a library, personal tuition fee, accommodation fee, living cost etc.

PhD did not have any course work. The research work gave very good opportunity to interact with different stakeholders.

The research work at Curtin horticulture research laboratory is very popular globally.

The course is great I love it. However, the workload is extremely full and demanding and leaves you a bit exhausted. But I guess that's expected because it's a pretty demanding job too. But overall good.

Fees

40000 for domestic students for the whole course. This comes with student and amenities fees over like 100 a semester. With scholarships, it's cut down though so that's good.

Well, set out with lots of practical experience. Units are dispersed to give an overall outlook into occupational therapy before undertaking more specialized units. The addition of an honors course adds more work but allows you to graduate with a globally recognized degree.

Fees

$9000 per year which can be HECS debt approved. SSAF fees are about $130 a semester. There are also uniform fees.

Very good. An extensive study on particular law areas. They also have trimesters which streamline the study process. However, more focus should have been on real-world application of law instead of law areas to better prepare us for law firms.

Fees

There is HECs help which is government funded help with fees which I applied for and is paid back once you start earning a certain amount.
