Course Curriculum

- No the course and the website interface is great. It's a practical one. Positive aspects are one can access to different softwares used in the program from endnote to other software for plagiarism.
- Negative is not there as of now. We dint have a course work so no classes. Indian students are too much one of my supervisor is Indian he is from Assam.
Admission Experience
- Applied for so many but always received negative email in terms of less funds for PhD or other reasons for rejections. Likely my company had signed a MOU with Deakin University. We have gone through 3 rounds of interviews and one written test and also IElts is required for the higher education. In my opinion I was rejected because of the funding issue or the area of expertise dint matched.
- It has the sandwich plan with my organization, yes ielts is required for the admission. Overall experience with the facilities and faculty was great all are quite active and understanding. Admission process involves 3 rounds of interviews and one round of written exam. One who scored the highest marks was qualified for different rounds of interviews.
- August intake I have applied, the factors are the global rank of the University. It took more than 7 months. It will take time for ielts then there are other meetings, internal interviews and directors interview which takes time to get the proper approval and documents from the University. Even though it takes alot of time but it's worth the wait.
Faculty

- Yes faculty members assit student to opt for part time job as a researcher to overcome the financial crisis if someone faced. Along with that my supervisor works with silk he has created the hearing aid using silk I admire his work and he is too kind and soft hearted never dis respect or demean any student.thats why he stand out and always the supporting pillar.
Campus Life

- Campus there are 3 feeling, melbourne and one more. Facilities are distributed according to the faculty associated with the department. Activities like flagship conference for the department was there which promotes student to participate in the event and showcase there work in the field of research and development. Oral presentation and poster presentations.
Part Time Jobs
- Off campus student dint get much of the benefits in terms of part time or on campus job. Maximum hours of work is around 8 hours per day and per week it's 40 hours need to complete or can extend based on the work load or timelines which one need to fulfil. There is lots of compitition none of my batchmate got any opportunity for on campus placement as we all are off campus candidate
- No idea as I don't visit there but my batchmates cut or save money from spending less. But no one joined any part time job. All were working in labs then household chores they don't have much time for part time work. It is easy forthem to commute and save as they all live nearby and saved commute charges. Also there is a issue of approval as they gone there for research work not for job. Visa must be different.
Placement

- More than 2 secure job within 6 months, average salary range is between 40-80 k . After graduation seeing the company working on there qualification interest can apply directly or through reference may help.
- Major companies are CEEW, WRI, University for assistant professor, TERI, many other also RCB, tsthi so many other hire depending upon the experience you have .
Accommodation
Off Campus

- Off campus student I am as we have to visit the university for 6 months I have applied for visa but it got delayed because of passport expiry date and it came very late around 6 months at that time my all milestones were already covered.
- So I didn’t go there but the batchmate gone there the aboard accomodation is very expensive but well arranged and facilities are there.
Exams
- Ielts with band 7.0 overall. Cv is required for the application and also the lengthy application form need to be filled to initiate the application.yea 3 rounds of interviews are there one with director, University head, and the department head.
- Statement of purpose is required and even they expect the proposal on the topic from the candidate to know how much student have knowledge about the topic
Fees
- It's a fully sponsored in my case. No tuition fee, hostel fees was charged. No idea about the fee structure.
- Monthly stipend was provided and the expense is more than 15K per month including commuting , rent and monthly expense. And fees is not applicable in my case because of sandwich program but the degree is offered my Deakin. I am a off campus student.
Scholarship
- Yes scholarship is available DIRI. Award amount on monthly basis it's 32,000 INR. Around 8 students get scholarship based on the projects funded on yearly basis.
- The student do vary based on the project which got funds from Deakin University and which lies in the interest of University. All of the batchmate receive the scholarship from the University.
