Course Curriculum

10

  • The course for which I was enrolled had an up-to-date curriculum which prepared me for the industry. We went through a rigorous curriculum paired with an equally rigorous practical assignment. The schedule for classes varied, so that's something hard to put a number on – but a fair number would be 4 classes a day.

Admission Experience

  • One of the reasons for choosing Deakin was the curriculum, which was the perfect blend of theory and practical application from a globally recognised university. Global exposure and affordable fees, along with scholarship opportunities made it the perfect choice for me
  • You'll have to clear IELTS or an equivalent exam to prove your proficiency in the English language. Along with that, you'll need to clear other eligibility criteria that might differ from one course to another.

Faculty

10

  • The faculty at Deakin is something you'll love the most. Every professor that I have had the opportunity to interact with is something that I'll cherish forever. All my professors were so knowledgeable and so helpful that I don't have enough words to thank them for their guidance.

Campus Life

10

  • If you move forward to study with Deakin, you'll enjoy an amazing campus life. You'll meet with students and professors that come from different countries and have different experiences. You'll also get to experience a large number of activities, clubs, and events.

Part Time Jobs

  • I wasn't involved in part-time opportunities so wouldn't be the best person to answer this.

Placement

10

  • Well, there's no shortage of job opportunities. A lot of students got placed even before completion of the course. You'll be supported by the campus placement cell and the constant networking events will also help you build your network and find opportunities.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

  • You'll have no shortage of accommodation options or the ways to find them. There are plenty of online platforms, IM groups, and flyers to help you get your accommodation sorted.
  • Options near the university would be a bit expensive compared to distant options. Similarly, solo accommodations would be costlier compared to dorms. So choose an option that fits your budget and needs.

Exams

  • You'll need to clear IELTS and have a certain level of score from your last academia. If you are good on that, you'll need a valid passport and submit a Statement of Purpose.

Fees

  • After the scholarship, I was paying $700 for each credit point.
