Top Rankers Exam Analysis on IPMAT 2024; Exam Remained Easy to Moderate

New Delhi: Toprankers have released the exam analysis for IPMAT 2024. The analysis have been done by Karan Mehta, Co-Founder Toprankers based on the IPMAT 2024 question paper and student’s reactions.

The IPMAT Rohtak 2024 exam maintained the same paper pattern as the previous year, with 120 questions evenly distributed across three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.

Most students have reportedly attempted between 85 and 90 questions. The expected cutoff is likely to be above 350 marks.

The Verbal Ability section featured a reading comprehension passage based on a poem stanza and three longer passage-based questions. The length of these passages posed a challenge, with students unable to complete the section in under 30 minutes. Furthermore, two errors were noticed in the grammar-based questions section. The question required aspirants to correct the underlined part, but no part was underlined.

In the Quantitative Aptitude section, the difficulty level was relatively easy. Only two topics from higher mathematics—Permutations & Combinations and Mensuration—were included, with most questions focusing on arithmetic. Some Logical Reasoning questions were included under Quantitative Aptitude. It's important to mention that an on-screen calculator was not provided.

The Logical Reasoning section was more challenging than last year. The questions were more complex and time-consuming, particularly two lengthy questions from linear arrangements and another from Data Arrangements.

Karan Mehta, Co-Founder Toprankers, remarked, "The Logical Reasoning section showed an increased difficulty level with more intricate questions. The Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary questions were challenging, including a poem-based RC section this time. Quantitative Aptitude was relatively easy. Overall, the IPMAT Rohtak 2024 exam was easy to moderate. Thorough mock preparation is essential to crack IPMAT Rohtak, as mocks provide a clear picture of how to manage time effectively while dealing with diverse questions."

This year’s exam underscores the crucial role of strategic preparation.

Supergrads have a proven track record of results. Last year the platform achieved outstanding results, with over 510 selections to top BBA and IPM colleges including AIR 3, 5, 7 in IPMAT Indore 2023.
