Here is the detailed eligibility criteria that students need to have for applying to NIT Jamshedpur PhD Courses:

• For a PhD in engineering, you must have either a master's degree in the appropriate field of engineering or technology with at least 60% of the available points, or a CPI equivalent of 6.5, OR a bachelor's degree in the field with at least 80% of the available points, or a CPI equivalent of 8.5.

• Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 60% of the possible points, or an equivalent CPI of 6.5, OR a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with at least 80% of the possible points, or an equivalent CPI of 8.5, are required for PhDs in the humanities, social sciences, and management.
