Sikkim Polytechnic Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria laid down by the admission authorities before applying for admission to Assam Polytechnic Engineering courses. The detailed eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in class 10 from a recognized board/examination board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% in 10+2 from a recognized board/examination board in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry for admission to Polytechnic Lateral Entry
• 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination will be given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Tribe communities in Sikkim.

Sikkim Polytechnic Admission 2024: Application Process

The selection of the candidates to Sikkim Polytechnic Engineering courses is based on the merit rank of the candidate based on their performance in the qualifying examination. Candidates can apply for Sikkim Polytechnic Courses through both online and offline modes.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Advanced Technical Training Centre (ATTC), Government of Sikkim: attc.skmpoly.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Admission” tab available on the homepage

Step 3: Then, click on the “Apply” link.

Step 4: Fill all the required information in the online application form and upload the mandatory documents

Step 5: Submit the application fee through online payment modes such as Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Step 6: Verify the details and click on submit.

Note: Candidates can download the application form from the official website and fill it out manually. They shall submit the application form, Application fee in the form of DD in favor of the Director, Technical Education, HRDD, and photocopies of necessary documents.

• Class X / Class XII (Science) mark sheets and passing certificate
• Birth Certificate
• Aadhar card
• One passport-size photograph
• Sikkim Subject Certificate or COI of father or candidate (If applicable)
• Valid Community Certificate of the candidate (original or provisional for local candidates)
•  Residential Certificate or Trade License in the name of the father (for local candidates)

• The Counselling Process is completely Merit-based and would be prepared by the concerned statutory body.
• Once the merit list is released, candidates shall fill in their desired choice of colleges through online counselling and pay the counselling fees.
• Provisional Admission Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their merit rank and preference.
• Enlisted candidates can download their allotment letters and have to visit the respective allotted college for document verification.
