The candidate who wants to be admitted to Polytechnic institutes should meet the following requirements.

• The applicant’s upper age limit for applying for the exam is 30. There is some relaxation for people with categories.
• The applicant must have passed class 10 from a recognized board or its equivalent and have secured a minimum of 35% score.  
• The candidate should have passed both mathematics and science separately. Those who have done class 10 from distance learning are also able to apply.
• The candidate must be a domicile of the state of Chhattisgarh to secure admission in institutes.

To apply for the exam, follow the given instructions.

• Visit the website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board and apply for the PPT test
• Select if you’re a domicile of Chhattisgarh or not and proceed to fill out the application form
• Enter your personal details, and qualifications and upload the documents which are required
• Submit the application and pay the application fee after verifying your form

Note: Once you’ve submitted the form, you’ll only get the option to make corrections in case of discrepancy during the Form Correction phase. You can make corrections after paying a fee of INR 20.

Qualified candidates need to apply for counselling to secure their admission to the institute of their choice. For that, they need to follow the given steps.

• Register online for the counselling process at the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education Chhattisgarh 
• Fill out the required details and the counselling fee
• Fill out your college and specialization preference. Make sure to fill out all the choices which are given to you to increase your admission chances.

The syllabus of the PPT exam consists of class 10th subjects mathematics and science and basic computing.

The result of the CG PPT is declared on the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board and applicants can check their results by entering their details. The qualifying score for the PPT exam is a non-zero score.  Thus anyone who manages to score any amount of marks is qualified and appears in the merit list.

Counselling Process

The counselling process has the following stages.

1. Document Verification: Before the seat allotment takes place, the applicants have to verify their documents. A list of centres will be published and the applicant will have to bring his documents in original to verify them.

2. Seat Allotment: Based on availability and choice preference seat allotment takes place. Applicants will be informed via an SMS and will need to download their provisional allotment letter.

3. Admission: To finish the formalities, candidates will need to report to the allotted college along with their documents before the due date and secure admission. The admission fee will also need to be paid here.
