BHU PG 2026 counselling login at bhucuetpg.samarth.edu.in uses your 10-digit NTA CUET PG 2026 application number and the password you created on the BHU Samarth portal — not your NTA account password.

Banaras Hindu University runs all PG admissions through CUET PG scores via a centralised online counselling process on the Samarth platform. If you are locked out of the portal, the fix is almost always a credential mix-up, a forgotten password, or a misplaced application number. This guide covers every login error, application number recovery, and password reset step.

  • Portal: bhucuetpg.samarth.edu.in — login requires your 10-digit NTA CUET PG 2026 application number and your BHU Samarth portal password.
  • The Samarth portal password is separate from your NTA CUET PG account password — they are different accounts.
  • Forgot your application number? Recover it at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG using the Forgot Application Number option.
  • Forgot your Samarth password? Click Forgot Password on the login page — an OTP is sent to your registered email.
  • For portal errors, email admission.help@bhu.ac.in or call NTA at 011-40759000.

BHU PG 2026 Counselling Login FAQs

Ques. What is the login ID for BHU PG 2026 counselling on the Samarth portal?

Ans. Your login ID is your 10-digit NTA CUET PG 2026 application number. This is not your CUET UG number or your BHU reference number. Find it on your CUET PG 2026 admit card PDF or recover it from exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG using the Forgot Application Number option.

Ques. Is the BHU Samarth portal password the same as my NTA CUET PG password?

Ans. No. These are two separate accounts. Your NTA password is for exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG. Your BHU Samarth portal password was created when you first registered on bhucuetpg.samarth.edu.in. If you forgot it, use the Forgot Password link on the Samarth login page.

Ques. My BHU PG 2026 login shows "invalid credentials" even though I think the password is correct. What should I do?

Ans. First, check that Caps Lock is off — the password is case-sensitive. Make sure you are entering your BHU Samarth portal password, not your NTA account password. Clear your browser cache and try again in Chrome or Firefox. If the problem continues, use Forgot Password to create a new one.

Ques. My BHU PG 2026 counselling account is locked. How long do I wait?

Ans. Account locking occurs after several failed login attempts. Wait 30 minutes without trying to log in. After the wait, use the Forgot Password option to reset your password before attempting to log in again. This avoids further failed attempts that could extend the lock.

Ques. I cannot access the email I registered with and cannot receive the OTP for password reset. What do I do?

Ans. The Forgot Password feature sends an OTP only to your registered email or mobile. If neither is accessible, email BHU helpdesk at admission.help@bhu.ac.in with your CUET PG application number, full name, and date of birth and request manual assistance with your account.

Ques. Can I still log in to BHU PG 2026 counselling now that registration has closed?

Ans. Yes. Students who registered before the 4 June 2026 deadline can log in throughout the counselling process to check seat allotment results, upload documents, and pay fees. Seat allotment rounds are ongoing through August 2026 and the portal remains active for all registered students.
