Vivekananda Global University is currently hosting its annual youth festival “Panache 16”, which began on March 14 and is witnessing enthusiastic participation from students and artists across the country. The eight-day festival provides a dynamic platform for showcasing talent through cultural, sports, and technical activities.
Grand Inauguration Ceremony
The festival was inaugurated with a grand ceremony at the university’s Technology Block Gate. The event began with a traditional Ganesh Vandana, followed by a vibrant cultural procession titled “March of Minds”, creating a festive atmosphere across the campus. Students, faculty members, and guests attended the ceremony in large numbers.
Day 1 Highlights
The opening day featured exciting events such as “India in Attire”, a food carnival showcasing regional cuisines, and a Faculty Ramp Walk. Activities like Henna Hues, Color Craze, and War of DJs added energy and excitement to the celebrations.
Day 2: Sports and Cultural Fusion
The second day brought a mix of sports and cultural competitions, including cricket, basketball, kabaddi, badminton, and volleyball. Technical gaming events such as BGMI and Valorant were also conducted. Cultural performances like United Grooves, Melody Unplugged, and the Velvet Vogue Fashion Show drew strong audience engagement.
Day 3 Activities
The third day continues with a variety of events, including folk and tribal performances, Panache Got Talent, Eco Design, and debate competitions. Creative activities such as Clay Play and Face Story are also underway, along with sports and fun events like tug of war.
Upcoming Attractions
The upcoming schedule includes a poetry session by renowned Urdu poet Wasim Barelvi on March 17. Other major events include Mr. and Miss Panache, Solo Sync, and Quiz Quest.
Celebrity Performances
The festival will also feature performances by well-known artists such as Amaal Mallik, Amanraj Gill, Nishant Dheer, and Ashish Solanki, among others.
Conclusion
According to the university administration, the festival aims to promote creativity, innovation, and cultural exchange among students. The campus has been specially decorated for the occasion, with many more activities planned in the coming days.
