IIM Indore Immersion Program 2026 and Student Events at Poddar Group of Institutions

Poddar Business School successfully completed a 5-day Student Development Programme (SDP) in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sunil Kakkar, Dean, Poddar Business School. The programme was designed to provide students with immersive learning experiences, industry-oriented knowledge, and exposure to contemporary management practices through expert sessions delivered by esteemed faculty members of IIM Indore.

The IIM Indore Immersion Program proved to be an enriching academic experience. The expert sessions delivered by distinguished faculty members provided valuable insights into contemporary management practices. The program significantly contributed to the holistic development of students by bridging the gap between theory and practice.

National-Level Intercollegiate Fest- MANTHAN 2026

A National-Level Intercollegiate Fest “MANTHAN 2026” held at Poddar International College, Mansarovar, and Poddar Business School, Jagatpura, which was successfully organized by the Poddar Group of Institutions. The three-day celebration intended to give students a lively space to display their technical know-how, talent, and innovation while encouraging cooperation and a spirit of competition.

On the first day, there were events that included Solo Singing, Rangoli, Face Painting, Creative Writing, Clay Modelling, Error Eradicator, Scrap to Shine, Trading Titans, Ad Mania, and Meme Marketing Championship, prioritizing personal expression and innovative thinking. The second day consisted of Croquis Design, BGMI Crown, Master Chef, AI Cinema (Short Film Making), Data Drill (Analytics Relay), IPL Auction, Corporate Roadies, Debate, and Ad Reel, focusing managerial, analytical, and practical skills.

The last day was made up of Group Dance, Ramp Walk, Full Stack Face Off, Case Solutions Saga, followed by a Live Band Performance by Sagar Lalwani and DJ Night, bringing the festival to a vibrant end. Moreover, students from a variety of colleges eagerly participated in the event, which was well-organized by student volunteers in order to ensure a seamless execution of the fest. Both guests and visitors fully enjoyed the event. It turned out to be an exciting and once-in-a-lifetime experience that fostered multifaceted teamwork and cross-cultural interchange while boosting students' self-esteem, inventiveness, and social skills.

Design Fest KalaSangam 2026

Our Annual Design Fest Kala Sangam 2026 was held in its finest form at our Poddar International College, where competitors from various schools and colleges took part to display their artistic abilities. Faculty members played a crucial role in guiding and educating students. Additionally, judges and guests enjoyed the fest's aesthetic appeal by assessing competitors' skills in a fair and unbiased manner, and they were all able to experience the union of modern design and traditional artistry. Without a question, the event came up with a vibrant environment for creativity, culture, and hands-on learning.

Corporate Connect program 2026

The Corporate Connect program was organized with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry by providing PGDM Trimester II students with first-hand exposure to corporate insights, evolving managerial skills, and real-world industry expectations. The session aimed to prepare students to become future-ready managers capable of thriving in a dynamic and disruptive corporate environment.

The Corporate Connect program was highly informative and impactful. It successfully met its objective of connecting classroom learning with industry practices. PGDM Trimester II students benefited immensely from the expert guidance, practical exposure, and motivational insights shared during the session. Such initiatives significantly contribute to holistic student development and industry readiness.

One Day MBA Workshop

Tarang Dance Championship – Season 1 (2025–26)

Poddar Group of Institutions, in association with Dance Vocabulary Studio (DVS), hosted the Tarang Dance Championship – Season 1 (2025–26), with its grand finale at Poddar International College, Mansarovar, Jaipur.

Under the Guidance of Dr. Anand Poddar and with Ms. Roopal Poddar gracing the award ceremony, the event attracted over 150 participants, with 40 finalists representing cities such as Jaipur, Delhi, and Bhopal. The finale was judged by choreographer Divyam Vijayvargiya, known for Hip Hop India, Dance India Dance, and choreography for Nora Fatehi at the FIFA World Cup. The event was coordinated by Mr. Vishwas, Senior Choreographer at Poddar Group of institutions. The championship concluded with Utkrishth Banerjee, Kerry, and Tanvika winning in the Junior Category; Harsh Jaga, Jeet Gyanchandani, and Priyansh Mathur in the Senior Category; and Talim & Kritika (Duet), DVS (Crew), and Team Shailja (Crew) in the Crew Category, celebrating emerging dance talent and Poddar Group’s commitment to the performing arts. Participants were awarded cash prizes of ₹11,000, ₹5,000, and ₹3,000 for first, second, and third places respectively. The event concluded on a celebratory note highlighting Poddar Group of Institutions’ commitment to provide a platform for emerging talent.

Alumni Meet 2025

Poddar Group of Institutions (PGI) successfully hosted the Alumni Meet 2025, at Poddar International College, bringing together alumni from batches 2012 to 2024 for an evening of reconnection, reflection, and celebration.

Organized by the Spandan Alumni Club, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni across diverse professional backgrounds.

During the program, Dr. Shilpi Damor, Convener, Alumni Club, formally introduced the Alumni Association and highlighted its objectives. She encouraged alumni to remain actively connected with the institution and contribute to its growth through continuous engagement and collaboration.

Interactive games and engaging activities created a lively atmosphere, encouraging alumni from different batches to bond and reconnect. A major highlight of the meet was the sharing of inspiring alumni success stories, where former students reflected on their academic journey at PGI and the role the institution played in shaping their careers and lives.

Alumni Meet and Degree Distribution Ceremony

Poddar Group of Institutions organized Spandan 2025, the Alumni Meet and Degree Distribution Ceremony. Prof. Nimit Ranjan Chowdhary, Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan Technical University, was the esteemed Chief Guest at the ceremony. Prof. Pramod N. Kamble, Head and Associate Professor, Dept. of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Rajasthan, Kota, and Ms. Anju Singh, Mahamantri Rashtriya Karyakarini, Laghu Udyog Bharti, were the esteemed Guests of Honour. We celebrated the joy of reunion along with recognition of academic excellence as students were presented with their degrees & diplomas.

Global Immersion Program for PGDM students

The Global Immersion Program (GIP) at Poddar Business School is an integral part of the PGDM curriculum, offering students valuable international exposure. Through industry visits, expert sessions, and cross-cultural learning, PGDM students gain practical insights into global business practices, enhancing their managerial and leadership skills.

Ideathon 2025

The Poddarpreneur Club of Poddar Group of Institutions successfully organized Ideathon 2025, a dynamic platform that allowed MBA and PGDM students to showcase their entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and business acumen.

Idea Pitching: Students presented innovative and feasible startups concepts with strong social impact.

Product & Brand Exhibition: Teams exhibited self-developed products and brand identities, showcasing creativity and real-world entrepreneurial initiative.

Business Quiz: A high-energy quiz on entrepreneurship, startups, and business trends tested students' knowledge, awareness, and agility.

Ideathon 2025 truly embodied the spirit of innovation and experiential learning. The event helped students refine their problem-solving abilities, strengthen their presentation and branding skills, and experience the excitement of real-time entrepreneurship.

Innofest India 2.0

Innofest India 2.0, organised by Poddar Group of Institutions & FUISI presented the bright future of entrepreneurship in India.

From powerhouse Signature Talks by Gaurav Taneja, Capt. Yashika Tyagi, and Himadri Sinha, to the exciting Shark Tank House featuring Shark Tank India founders, every moment was a game-changer. The 10-Minute Millionaire Challenge saw startups securing funding worth crores, while the Start-up Expo gave a platform to brilliant startups showcasing innovative brands.

Fashion Runway 4.0

Poddar Group of Institutions organized Fashion Runway 4.0—the Annual Fashion Show that showcased regal drapes, timeless beauty, and breathtaking fashion at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur. Fashion Design students of Poddar International College wowed the audience with couture on themes such as Shringara, Mauryan to Mughal, Saheliyon Ki Baadi, Sunny Day at Masai, Caramel Shadows, Jaipur Akashwani, Blue Serenity, Masquerade Prom Party, Moroccan Bazaar, Harmony in Duality, Noor-E-Sheesh, Ragas of Vrindavan, and Sangam.

The fourth edition of Fashion Runway continued Poddar International College's legacy of breakthrough fashion and presented the future of design at a grand platform with support from the Department of Design and its dynamic mentors.

Diwali Celebration 2025

Poddar International College celebrated diwali students enjoyed the evening with creativity, culture, and devotion. The celebrations started with a vibrant rangoli-making competition, where Design Deptt. claimed first place, Science Dept. second, and Commerce & Management third. Next, a heartfelt skit from the Ramayana conveyed timeless life lessons of love, brotherhood, courage, and righteousness. Students then walked the ramp in a thematic way showing Ramayana characters in styles that blended tradition with modern touches.

As evening came, the stage was transformed into a Ram Darbar, accompanying Hanuman Ji, and the gathering joined in Hanuman Chalisa and Ram Stuti recitals. The event ended with a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up both the sky and spirits. This Diwali celebration not only radiated joy but also reinforced cultural roots.

Dandiya Nights

Poddar Group of Institutions organized Dandiya Nights at Poddar Business School Campus to begin the festivities of Navratri. It was a celebration of culture, rhythm, and unforgettable memories where the beats of the dandiya brought everyone together in the spirit of unity and fun.

Freshers Fiesta

Our freshers had a blast dancing to the tunes of Freshers Fiesta organised by Poddar Group of Institutions. The venue, Poddar Business School, lit up with laughter & friendships. Mr. & Ms. Fresher Contest saw entertaining, confident performances from the new students and the best were adjusted with the titles by Miss India Glam Icon Winner, Ms. Ronak Kanodia and Mr. Rajasthan Runner Up, Mr. Pranjal Saxena. We congratulate all the participants for making it a fantastic show and all the freshers for enjoying till their hearts were full with ever-lasting memories.
