In the journey towards a successful career, I would advise my dear students to embrace challenges as opportunities as both are needed for growth. How does your college upskill faculty members and train them to meet the industry standards?

We have implemented a robust system of continuous improvement to upgrade the skills of our faculty members and train them in accordance with changing industry needs. And if I talk specifically, regular monitoring, evaluations, mid-semester assessments, and check-reboot mechanisms are in place to ensure faculty development. We also conduct Faculty Development Programs and webinars from time to time to help them stay updated with the latest trends and industry practices. Then, collaborations with industry experts and professionals further expose our faculty to real-world scenarios. And all these approaches directly benefit our students by providing them with a curriculum aligned with the current industry demands and practical.

Which extra-curricular activities are regularly organized by your institution to enhance the skills of students?

We have recognised that holistic skills development of students is very important to prepare them for real-world challenges. Hence, we regularly offer them a variety of extracurricular activities such as cultural events, inter-collegiate management fests and outbound training activities, that focus on enhancing their interpersonal and practical skills and help them adapt and thrive in diverse environments, cultures, and situations. My philosophy of leadership centers on fostering a supportive and empowering environment within the campus that encourages innovation, growth, and collective achievement.

And I strongly believe in nurturing the growth of both students and faculty members by providing them with the right resources and opportunities as well-rounded professionals are a product of a combination of skills. But between all this, we should not forget that it's crucial to seek insights from experts across various fields and continuously work towards skill development for everyone. Therefore, to promote excellence performance, I regularly encourage and guide my team while working with them.
