- Campus is in the Heartland of Downtown Atlanta ,It is east to commute, you get to live in a big city while not breaking a bank
- Offers wide and versatile curriculum , depending on your Inclination , you can either pick the course to be Statistics Intensive or Machine Learning Intensive.
- The college has decent career fairs going on all around the year for potential Networking/Internship Opportunities
Dislikes
- You will not have a real college experience as the campus is an open campus that is spread across the downtown
- There is no significance of getting a 3.8+ GPA as most of the students would exploit the system and get the grades easily
- While Networking events do exist , For an International Student on a F1 VISA sometimes, to land the opportunities , The opportunities might not be straightforward as GSU is recently understanding the methods to cater Career Needs / requirements of International Students compared to other universities like Georgia.
- I used online Platforms like Discord.
- Rent was 1900 dollars and it was an upscale apartment downtown.
- You generally do not feel challenged to find accommodation. The main challenge would be to find the like Minded Individuals.
- Housing was 10 miles away from the campus but tightly integrated with the Public Transit System, So Never faced problems in terms of commuting to college and other places.
